1. CARRIAGE

Orders over £65.00 in value - carriage paid (excluding VAT). Cost of transport will be charged on Orders over £65.00 value containing A1 & A0 Drawing Boards, Papers, Whiteboards & Lightboxes.

2. DESPATCH

Goods are sent by Parcelforce - 2 day delivery on Mainland, Small Packets by Royal Mail. It is advisable to sign for goods unexamined unless damage is obvious.

3. STANDARD POSTAL CHARGES

Orders under £8.00 See below under Low Value Orders.

Orders under £65.00 £5.95 + VAT

4. NEXT DAY DELIVERY AND PRIVATE ROAD TRANSPORT SERVICES

Where applicable charged at cost + VAT

5. OFF MAINLAND/SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS/EXPORT ORDERS

Post and Carriage on Orders overseas,

Scottish Highlands and Islands - @ £13.95 (IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, ZE)

Northern Ireland @ £14.30

Isle of Man @ £14.30

Channal Islands @ £18.95

Republic of Ireland @ £18.95

VAT charged where applicable.

Export orders to the rest of the world are quoted upon request.

6. LOW VALUE ORDERS

Orders under £8.00 nett (excluding VAT) are uneconomical for us to handle handle but will be executed on condition that a small Order Handling/Postage charge of £2.50 is added + VAT. and cheque is sent with order.

7. PRICES

All prices are quoted in UK Pounds Sterling. Esmond Hellerman Ltd policy is to maintain prices. However Esmond Hellerman Ltd reserve the right to ammend prices without prior notice at any time.

8. VALUE ADDED TAX

All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT which shall be charged on invoices at the rate in force. For invoicing purposes we may require the buyer to furnish evidence of exemption from VAT.

9. INSURANCE.

All goods are covered by Insurance for damage and non-delivery.

10. DAMAGED GOODS.

Damaged goods, shortages or non-delivery must be reported to us, within 7 days, or we cannot accept responsibility. Damaged articicles must be held for examination purposes.

11. RETURNED GOODS

Before returning goods please telephone to obtain permission. For all goods returned a postal carrier's receipt must be obtained. Returned consignments should contain full details in the parcel, i.e. address, account number and the reason for return. Notice of the return should also be sent under separate cover. All returned goods should be adequately packed to arrive in perfect condition. On firm Orders we reserve the right to make a handling charge.

12. SUBSTITUTES

When items are not available from stock we will substitute the nearest unless 'no substitute' is clearly stated by you.

13. ORDERS

We reserve the right to accept Orders subject to availability of Goods. Price ruling at date of despatch. Please contact us or check online for current prices. When an Order is under £70.00, if all items are not available, carriage will be charged on the first despatch of the Order at the rate for the whole Order and the balance will be forwarded carriage paid, unless under the exception list, where balance is specified under carriage charges.

14. TITLE TO GOODS

All goods remain the property of the Company until paid for as long as any money owing to us is outstanding, in respect of any goods sold. Subject to these conditions we will retain equitable and beneficial ownership of all such goods until all indebtedness has been discharged.

15. DELIVERY

Every effort will be made to despatch goods in accordance with delivery date given or specified by the customer and accepted by us.

17. PAYMENT

Terms: Nett Monthly accounts. If cheques are sent with Orders incorrectly priced, goods will be invoiced at prices ruling at date of despatch. We reserve the right to add, at our discretion, 2.5% per month on over due accounts. Non-credit accounts. All customer payments shall be made in UK pounds Sterling. In the case of credit/debit cards or purchasing card transactions, the customer shall pay the price of the goods by such cards at the time of placing the order. Esmond Hellerman Ltd shall be entitled to recover the price. No order will be fulfilled until payment has been authorised by the appropriate credit/debit service provider.

19. EXPORTS

Special quotations - Ex. Works, F.O.B. or C.I.F. on request.

20. DATA PROTECTION ACT 1998

Customers ordering from the Company will have their names and addresses on our records for accounting purposes and this information may be used for the distribution of promotional material. If you wish this information to be deleted from our records please inform us within one month of the last business transaction.

A PURCHASER PLACING AN ORDER WITH THE COMPANY IS DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THE ABOVE CONDITIONS.
